In a similar manner, Jane’s mom Grace died of a cerebral hemorrhage on 14 June 1949. Born in 1883, she died at the age of 65 and her burial took place in Fern Hill Cemetery in Aberdeen, Washington.

17 years after she divorced her first spouse, Jane walked down the aisle a second time with her husband Paul D Whitney. The couple got married in the year 1984 and remained together until the death of Jane in 2000.
